Plus one. It's pathetic behaviour that has been going on for too long. The amount of energy and effort it takes to so quickly and frequently red-thumb a particular person's posts, means it is really kinda creepy. It IS stalkerish behaviour - and it IS bullying of the most p!ssweak kind. (Hiding behind the safety of internent anonymity).
And to do it in a thread paying tribute to a great surfer who has passed away -- it has really and truly gone too far.

I'm over it. I messaged the mods. Sad thing is the bloke thinks he's funny and is probably enjoying all this:

"A psychopath can have high verbal intelligence, but they typically lack "emotional intelligence". They can be expert in manipulating others by playing to their emotions. There is a shallow quality to the emotional aspect of their stories (i.e., how they felt, why they felt that way, or how others may have felt and why). The lack of emotional intelligence is the first good sign you may be dealing with a psychopath. A history of criminal behaviour (cyber bullying perhaps?) in which they do not seem to learn from their experience, but merely think about ways to not get caught is the second best sign."

Doesn't sound like a soulful longboarder to me.

Not quite that simple, SMH - but a good idea.
You would have to become a stalker stalker to keep up with this pr1ck. It's not the occasional red that worries anyone, it's the frequency and speed with which one person is picking on another person. You or I may notice a few hours later and hit it with a green, but I think more should be done to address this unacceptable behaviour - and make it stop.
But hell yeah - in the meantime - greens galore from me.
Cheers, Dave

hmmm, i like what face book does - like buttons only. takes away the negatives.

and before the negative, the worlds not a bed of roses, crew blow up, if its not liked, someone will say so or no response at all - more or less sends the same message except you stop the creeps with agenda's stalking

Well, I don't think a nice positive bloke like the Pup should have some bullying stalker follow him from thread to thread, red thumbing most of what he contributes, day after day, week after week. It's not some random thing - it's in breach of the forum rules and it should be stopped.
The easiest simplest way would be what Lacey said - allow greens -- and not reds. (Billboard left the green room over this issue months and months ago.)
But it's probably up to the people at the heart of the matter to decide on taking it further if they want.
If the moderators think it's worth some action, great. Otherwise - I guess we can all go round the merry-go-round another few times.

Seems to me like there is no harm in ditching the reds. Nothing to lose, plenty to gain.
Earlier this year, Laurie said (in part)
"Due to feedback in here, we built some analytics to help us look deeper into the usage of thumbs.
And we were shocked at what we found.
I couldn't actually imagine that somebody would abuse the red-thumb system to such a degree as they did.
Specifically, using at least two logins this person dished out 2000+ red thumbs to 300+ individual logins, versus giving 45 green thumbs. Even after triple checking the numbers, I struggle to fathom this happened.
No doubt there are people who say "discard the thumbs altogether", and this is a possibilty, and some people are eager for Seabreeze to become like Google & Facebook where they only have a +1 or "Like" button "

PS And now, cos I know it's all just a big game really, I will happily take a break (and give you all a break ) for a little while.

Agree with BS, too much time and effort wasted on the f**cker. His problem to deal with, if we don't respond he grow weary of it (no pun intended mate)

i agree but in pups instance, im so use to him having a red thumb i just see it as normal these days, i have just gotten use to it and think nothing of seeing red next to his name.

i dunno i think in comparrsion to other internet forums this forum is like a childs playground and everyone is wrapped in bubble wrap, there is little to no bullying so to speak compared to other forums. Would be intresting to see if 6 moonths goes past an no one mentions the red thumbs if it would keep going.

to be honest i sorta an interested in this guy as he has so much determination to keep doing it, i wanna have beer with him and find out wtf is wrong with him because the determination is amazing, i would get sick of it after an hour

..... Just to kick me in the arse a bit more ... yesterday morning I went up to see my old man in hospital straight after my early pretty ordinary (huge easterly early on) surf ... he has been pretty crook with kidney issues and internal scarring after a prostate op a few years back ... I walked in the room with his Sunday Times rag for him to try read as usual ... the alarm buzzer went off and the nurse was trying to resuscitate him on the floor of the shower cubicle - almost all of the staff were on hand within minutes and they got him back , put him on air , ran some heart shizz , and put him on two bags of blood ... fark my heart was pounding so farking hard I could hear it .... I grabbed his hand when they got him back on his bed and it was so farking cold and shaky all I could do was rub it and pull up his blankets a bit , geez he was cold and I can't get it out of my head at the minute , he has lost over 15kegs during the past month and it is scaring the bejesus out of me watching him slip away .................during my surf this morning I was as shaky as shizz myself , I am trying to keep a laugh going (texted asea & chrispy and I think I did ok with it hahaha) .....

geez I didn't want to get involved here in this thread , and so that my friends .... is my input

{PS} please no PM's and thanks for your typing words
