A few waves were had down our way over the w/e - caught up with a few of the Manly crew on Sunday who were in the neighbourhood and took a few shots.......

Thanks SP - those ones are just small jpegs for easy uploading. That first one is the best surf shot I have taken I reckon - was stoked with it - the full sized image has so much colour in it. Makes me feel a little better now that I finally splashed out and ordered a decent camera today.

Nice spot that one CMC - just make sure you do not go there expecting a surf before September............still you will get a nice feed at anytime of the year and it looks like you had that well covered - although drinking Dutch beers???

Bit easier to take good photos when there is some talent in the water to, he is belting the **** to of that lip. But great shots, the sequence is good 2 and the 4th shot is a cracker.

Yes the talent in the water adds significantly to the pic! I have ben using an old Canon 10D that I picked up on ebay a while back whilst trying to work out if I wanted to spend the cashola on a decent DSLR. Originally I brought it for the fiance as she loves her photography but have found it in my possession a lot more than planned. We have gone for the Canon D60. I spent ages deciding between that and the D7 but could not see the extra $400 value in it so went the D60. Will be nice to go from 6mp to 18mp and have a decent lcd screen as a viewfinder for a change. Should make life a lot easier. Picked up a better quality lens as well whilst I was at it. Expensive week

What can I say about the beer? Ummm they were free.

The other spot is Mundaka, in Spain. Flat that day.

I have only had my mind blown 300 times so far and still have 5 countries to visit. The Colloseam(spelling?) and the whole of Rome city actually is like nothing I have even imagined.

they have been delicious for the longboards we will tomorrow and the rest of the week too i guess

Its the Colosseum CMC and yes its an amazing spot - you stand there just through the entrance and all you can almost imagine the roar of the crowds...the pits underneath - it would have been an incredible thing to see in real life - although I am not sure I would have had the stomach for blood sports!!!

Glad to see you are getting out and about and having a blast. Make sure you eat some good tucker
