If your after a hp long board I suggest having a gool look at a mct evo 2 with the 07 rocker.. at 9.3 ish
Absolutely loves the hollow stuff. Wants to be there and powers along. A very neat turner too

Not big today but hollow and scored cover ups left right and centre. Ive got more green room action on this board then any other this year.
Very impressed.

I set it up as a almost thruster. 7 sides and a shapers s9 centre

For me it has lot more speed and drive then the standard 2 plus one setups

Glad your liking it Lacey.

Sold mine today.

P.S. They seem a little soft on the glass around the rails. I don't pull my straps too tight but noticed strap marks around the rails.

I'm sure the board is awesome, McTavish has been shaping for a long time...& for what they cost, they bloody ought to be...I'd say you were having a good surf on a nice day had something to do with it too

As luck would have it the one bloke bought two of my boards this morning so that made it easy.

yeah nice waves help. actually hollow waves help. that's my point. it wants to be there.

ive held off saying anything much about this board but every time I surf it in the hollows it performs.

its a good thing to have that confidence in a board.

im not saying its the only good board around

Either of which isn't real long by global standards 98% of the time. A few places turn it on, but they're generally geographically few & far between "on any given day".....often hear of differing board shapes for East/West/US/Hawaii. Its great when you get that magic board for your local waves & more the merrier hey. Amazing how many moods one spot can have. Diversity is good

Are you talking about the mct Vanders? I've owned a few just a few and never encountered this issue,perhaps you did pull the straps too tight
