Tough one Billboard. For me on the Goldy and loving the points, it would probably have to be either a 9'1 performance mal or my trusty 12 year old 9'3 McTavish Noosa (it has seen many a better day but is always fun to ride!). I didn't choose a shorter board cos quite often it can be 1 -3 ft and great for a mal/log but not really enough to get a Carver or Superfish firing. - Mark

The LSD, best board I have ever ridden full stop.com

The channel bottom is a great board but only works well when the waves are clean

Classic,ok I own a 9.3 ufo a 9.6 fireball and next week a 9.8 redline.

If I could only have one board it would NOT be any of the above,I
would get a 9.4 Fireball.

I've never been a single fin fan,I don't surf that slow style.

However, after chatting to a legend (asea) a while back he
suggested I slow everything down and draw my turns out
not my longboad shortboard smash it up type of riding.
After owning three singles all redlines I have finally sorted
them out and really enjoy the trim and drawn out turns.
I only ride the redline when it micro or full on fat hightide.
Fireball is an alrounder, great board. Turns well and you have
the best of both worlds,it turns it trims it almost does everything.
Having said that,my fav' board is my 9.3 UFO,it suites the way I
like to surf and goes nuts in good surf.

If it was for one, and only one, I would sell the lot, and get a McT EvoII Epoxy (made in Byron), with quad options, and trimmed up nose, even though the nose is already a little trim.

But it would also be a coin toss with the Rincon '68 Dream Machine.
But the EvoII could win by a coin toss, best out 3, best out of 5!

If I had a 2 board quiver, it would be The Rincon 68, and an EvoII. I think.

Jealous of being a 40y/o going on 12 shortboarder who is too afraid to face reality and acknowledge that its time to grow up and get a real surfboard that will increase his fun factor and wave count 500% - ok you got me, I am so jealous mate
