Awesome surf this arvo, and Steve Ryan snapped a few pics of me in bright afternoon light. But he also mentioned he got some pics of me a while back in "slow shutter", and he said they came up really nice. I guess similar to this photo below... I will post them in due course...

I was riding one of my favorites... The Occasional Pin. Mac wasn't sure what it looked like, so he asked for the pics to be posted... But I think he was pulling on my leg!

great skill behind the lens to capture those slow speed blur shots......I have been trying to get me one of those for a while but so far failed. The joy down your way Simondo is the path and its many look outs with slightly diff angles which allows the photog to get the right angle. Looking forward to some shots of you

Nice waves there Simondo !!! Total wave envy from me right now ! I love that shot of you laying a cable - I would love to see you on a shortboard laying a turn like that - you would be flying as you came out of it ! Surely you must miss riding them !

It's the only one I have ever seen and right now I am speechless ! That creation is amazing. I agree smh there has been a tonne of work go in to that amazing board...I bet there is one lucky and stoked owner out there.

You do have a point, one time at band camp I stuck a flute in my eye somehow afterwards my thumb was also red.

I have one of those fins for my longboard - its a work of art in the flesh !

As for glassing that tail - I would not even think about it just yet !

is it pre 1978 Mac?....I did a stack of these around that time....they got a little cult following at Maroubra.
