Just caught the best wave of my life! It was a solid wide set that rolled through Lowers, and reeled off all the way through to The Cave in The Bay way down the end. It was one of those "grower" type waves... I was slotted in the pocket, and it just kept reeling... Very close to a stand up barrel, but I couldn't afford to stall into the barrel... didn't want to blow the wave. There was a 5 second period towards the end of the wave where I entered Space-time continuum, and the 4th dimension... time stood still and it felt like slow motion...
Absolute perfection... I was riding 18404. 18393 (9'6 Volane Pintail) is currently on the way to Torquay.

youre a lucky bugger...I love lower winky it is one of my favourite waves...I spent some time there in the early seventys...surfed it with Wayne Lynch and 3 other guys one afternoon...all the way into the bay as you say...we were standing around the fire after wondering why everyone was at bells...far better wave imo.
