Apparently Parko went on a fishing trip or something in the morning and didn't get back in time for his heat. Not sure how true that is??

Slater was tweeting from Florida yesterday saying he was on his way to Fiji, I can only assume that he got delayed.

these guys make me laugh
they want sponsors
they want titles
they want respect
this sport gave them their lifestyle and playing these games just makes them look like spoilt brats,

I don't agree... That is one crazy looking wahoo.... I'd take a sickie for that..

Especially on a day I thought I had nothing on, the story is no oNe thought it would run till Thursday at the earliest, it was more a case of they both got caught out. At least Parko was in the country... By the way I'm backing Slater.... He loves winning after this type of thing...

I seriously believe Parko will be very disappointed with what happened he is a true professional and looked super fit last week.

On live now,Kelly has arrived and in the water now leading with 3 mins to go,up next Fanning followed two heats later by Parko.
