Thanks guys had a good day ,was out in first round as always ,some had a worse day than me .

The Makarori first light is all about fun ,I spent a couple of hours judging which opened my eyes seeing how some surfers get high scoring waves in very trying conditions , Your Olimpic canoe coach Ben Hutchings took out the over 60s I think he was the oldest in the comp , he is a wiley old Fox was great to see his work . Every body went away with a prize I was lucky enough to get a Tee Shirt from Blitz Surf Shop . Also there was Robert August Tuflite given away , one of the junior locals was the lucky winner .
