Any suggestions for quick drying?

The only one I got is after I rinse it I wrap it in a towel to suck some water out of it. Then hang it up on a coat hanger.

try to leave it in the garage overnight if you can so its out of the dew. Give it a good rinse after you have rinsed it with freshwater. I was speaking to a bloke at the beach this morning about this very issue. He puts his next to a fan forced gas heater for a few minutes first. Do not put it in the DRIER!!!!

I always use a supermarket plastic bag when its wet to aid me when putting it on.

Towball says you gotta have at least three suits to ensure you have got a dry one for every occasion
....but I have a lower budget than him. However for most of us two suits would be adequate to allow sufficient drying time

Not so sure it is great for the washing machine but a favourite was the spin cycle.

They come out almost bone dry.

okay...i only got one winter one. And its real thick...takes two days before the legs dry out.
The hotwater bottle is my secret weapon....hang on to it on the way to the beach & chuck it down the top of the wetsuit before paddling out (if its not toooo hot),:)

Thanks for the tips, I'd like to own 2 but for a few months a year just not worth it, I even cut the sleeves off my old one cause it's more use as a short sleeve.

CMC, yep it works awesome, but it can cut your wettie used to do it allthe time when i was younger but stopped when i found a cut in a fairly new suit and not sure how the super stretch would go, think it might stretch the neoprene to much

ATM I rinse it when I get home, wrap it in a dry towel to get the water out then dry it in the shower inside, if I need it to be dry I just hang it in the corner of my Living room which has a heater in it. Usually pretty dry the next day but the damp bit always seems to be in the crotch reigion, and cold balls is not a nice way to start a surf.
Might have to sit on a hot water bottle

I get a dry towel and lay it out flat, lay the wet wettie on the towel.
If you have a spare dry towel put that over the top.
Start at the legs and roll the towel up as tight as you can and let it sit like that for 10-20mins.
Roll the towels out and they should be wet and the suit should be dryish <<not a real word. Well dry enough to put on without freezing to death

I've often thought that it's a pity we can't easily use all the wasted energy of our car engines to dry a wetty.

Even in the coldest winter an engine needs its coolant to circulate through the radiator and the inside heater.

If it could be easily redirected to a smal box with a small car interior heater and fan, ventilated to the outside, it could simply dry as you drive.

It's just all the piping and cutting you would need to do that would make it impractical on anything other than an old bomb.

Not to mention ensuring you get all the seals and the coolant right.

Should patent that idea OBCt . Isn't there a type of camping shower that utilizes engine heat to create hot water ?

Down here unfortunately I am with Towball the wetsuits take at least a day to dry so need multiple suits to get a dry one . The best solution I have is to hang them on the clothes airer in front of the heatpump ( reverse cycle air conditioner for you Queenslanders )

"A hot water bottle" in my experience may not be totally adequate. Add many more for a variety of warmth sensations
