Just thought posting my little video of our indo trip would be something different to watch. look its my first time at video editing and using my Gopro i didn't have any surf footage as i only tried it on a 666 day. i will TRY to post some big surf photos my mates have taken on that trip, i did say TRY, like i was going TRY to post Honno's board porn photos
any video tips will be appreciated

Good job weiry. Someone posted me a list of video editing tips on another hobby forum once. I will try to dig it up, may be useful. Look forward to seeing more action shots. I use this stuff like Velcro to hold my camera on my board. Will find links tomorrow. Too stuffed now.

Mate thats an awesome first go at editing & the music was a blast from the past. I don't think you really need any video tips, you put it together nicely. Some dialogue would have improved the video or some text giving some explanation of some of the locations from the point of view of someone that wasn't on the trip. But I reckon your mates would be stoked with the vid...well done

Here I'll share one of my own non surfing vids & leave you with one last tidbit of advice & this also only matters if you want to get a few youtube views. Title & video thumbnail are important to tempt someone into watching your vid & you could probably improve on those. Video itself was cool...anywayz heres one of mine

Very good job! Nice.

I think one of the tricks with GoPro style footage is try and keep the camera as still as possible when filming and panning. Maybe even buy a miniature tripod.

Smooth panning is also a key.

You did really well with mixing up your perspectives and "shooting up". Kept it fresh and interesting!

Enjoyed that weiry, shows the buzz & happiness of the majority of indo people. Just bought myself a Gopro too, so I'm also looking for tips.

Thanks for sharing.

some people wanted to know what was that metal we were hitting, it was pewter at the Royal selangor pewter factory KL.
we found this tour guide who insisted we go to the factory I'm glad we did the craftsmanship was mind blowing watching people hand carving pewter for commission work
