Does anyone ever get it?

I do, usually where my skin rubs agains wax, like the back of the knees and the front of the elbows.

Got it so bad at the moment, I'm on cortisone cream.

Ive tried a few new waxes lately and I may be allergic to one of them.

May go back to Sex wax.

So many jokes there I don't know where to start...but yes the 2 days per year in Vicco I don't have to wear a fullsuit usually results in some kind of abrasive rash...I use paw paw ointment or Savlon which usually sorts it out...

That reminds me, did I ever tell you about why my daughter refuses to give me any hair cuts?

She says my back is too hairy and disgusting and she never knows when the hair cut stops and the back, sack & crack starts

24.25 inches wide so backs of knees are always in contact with the top of the boards when I'm sitting and for pretty much the same reason, the insides of the elbows are touching the board as I paddle and there is usually wax down the side of the rails to help me grab the board

This is my second year, attempting to surf and last year I had wax rash vary bad. To the point where I always surfed with "skins" on. Those compression leggings that sports people wear. Dorkville .... yeah but no rash. This year have not needed them. I discovered that last year I was laying too much wax on the board because my hands kept slipping off the board, but found that it had more to do with muscle strength and endurance than grip. When I am tired, my hands slip off the board. I keep wax off the rails now.

My son had a go at the ufo a few days ago. It clicked for him, gliding on the fun waves, you could see him shining. But so funny when he tried to walk up the board and slipped off where the wax runs out. A-O-T, so funny, loved it. And constant whining about no wax on the rails too. Told him to get over it.

Hope you are feeling better soon obct. BTW, I only use sex wax, not for any reason, just what I do.

All my wet ties have terrible white wax rashes accross the butt .

Probably means I spend too much time sitting on my arse

Normally use sex wax but have run out this week and grabbed some old farking wax out of the cupboard . Man that stuff is sticky have had my feet sticking to the board when I try and move them .

OB, have you tried using Nair, or perhaps even an Epilady?

Wax has never been brilliant for hair removal...... But it works well to prevent you slipping off a surfboard.......l

Yep and Cur-ash..... It like talcum powder and is awesome for rashes, never go away without it.
Works great under the arms and in the gentlemans areas...

Is it possible that you have excema?
The areas you describe are key points for it.
