Base & top I use Sex Wax

Any particular brand? I've been using the FK Ultimate

Those wax companies are fooling you with their clever marketing re - warm, cool,cold,tropic's BS.

They are trying to trick you by saying during winter use cold water wax.I have none of it, its warm 24/7 right

but I just use warm water all year round, bottom, mid and top coat I don't get wrapped up in wax, wax on wax off I don't own boards long enough to give a rats.

I've got some Sanctum 18-22 for a base coat that can only be applied in Indo or summer. I bought 10 blocks for $8 with a springy from them 2 years ago, on my last couple of 1/2 blocks of it. Otherwise I like Mrs Palmers 14-18...the last block of wax I bought was FarKing 14-18 & I didn't like it.....been keeping a look out at surfstich website & ebay for about 6 weeks waiting for a sale to pick up some palmers. Previous years they've had wax on sale for $1.50 a block & I've grabbed 10. But seems like they've only got over priced hipster clothing on sale these days

Sex wax warm water all year round for me. The orange one. Mrs Palmers is way to soft and messy.

I bought some "cream" this afternoon. Oh man, it smells so good. I can't wait to wax up tomorrow morning. The super cute sales chick said she thought I was going to eat it LOL

I have always just used 'warm water' Cream brand wax. Smells amazing and never had any problems with grip.

I remeber when i was a young fella and the only wax to get was Survival. It smelt great.

Base coat? Gimme a break. Warm in summer, cold in winter. Usually sex wax cause it fits my my soap dish wax container.
