I don't know if anyone else has been following this news item, but it looks as though the Mexican Police have found them.

It looks like they may have been robbed, had their van stolen with them in it and then it was set alight. This is from an internet news article.

Bloody awful situation to find yourself in, not to mention the impact on their families.

Two happy dudes looking to surf in Mexico will no longer catch any waves.

Very, very sad.

ET.

This is the first I've heard about it. Bad news and sad for their families.

Yeah what an absolute shocker of a story. I wish for their safety - but as Doggie says - its not looking good. Good luck to all involved - thoughts are with you.

Pretty sad story
I have heard that the first guy was killed, shot in the face because he fought back.
The other guy was killed because he was a witness
I have been told a similar story about some seppos that had a similar experience a few years back when driving through Mexico. They were pulled over at a BS roadblock taken to a field, robbed of everthing and left with nothing.
Thankfully for them and there families they weren't killed.
