3 * 6'2"s - are you going into production phase Tux? What you making? HPSBs?

Dr Funk - nothing on the stands at the moment - only got back into the country the over day. I have some birthday money from Nov that was allocated for a 10fter with a big thick cedar stringer - want to make a nice nose rider. But there are many other boards that I desire so will five it some thought over the next few weeks. A 7'4" gun blank sounds interesting - will be interested to see how that one comes out. I still want to give a Vanguard type of shape a crack. Weren't you making one of those?

I have been doing an interesting repair job the last few days. My sweet potato is falling part and I have repeatedly had to fix a soft area around one of the fins. And it just continues to get worse. I went to fix it again the other day and it was an absolute mess underneath. So I pulled out all the foam right to the rail and under half the fin box. Fin box is still firmly in place. So I went down to bunnings and brought some expandable foam and whacked that in there. It seems to have worked a treat - will glass over it tonight when I pick some epoxy resin up and give it a crack on Thursday. If this fails I think the board goes into the bin.

Fooking sweet.....I was thinking of doing a gun but the blanks were on special so I couldn't say no

1 x 5'10 double ender with a quad cluster of fins like one of those Neal Purachase Jr things that have been floating around...double concave into spiral vee behind the fins...flat deck into a 70's style down rail into a modern tucked under edge...glassed in fins

1 x 5'10 Single fin basically as per the above but with a diamond tail like Teds last effort and a single to spiral vee bottom

1 x 5'10 Thruster as per the other two but with a square lower modern rail shape and probably a square tail at this stage

Deatils on the second two are subject to change without notice right up until the outline is drawn....lol....think I will attempt ply wood glass in fins for all of them and am talking to some artist mates about doing a bit of airbrush stuff on them

Tux, Wow.........just wow......Really keen for all of those....might have to get another couple of blanks!! haha. I've just started making some wood fins with the end of my last 20lt drum (not board quality anymore!)

Ted, Yeah the vanguard style one is still on the cards but I just finished a 5'3" sweet potato style board (came out great) and I realised that I have 8 boards under 6' at the moment and not enough in the mid legnth - longboard category......so a gun followed by a Log or a D fin Pig is next up for me.
