Smallish surf here today, but it would have been really fun on a Longboard, waist high+. Warm water, like 22/23 at the moment! Boardies, in Vicco!

But, I took the KTM 450 EXC (motor-bike / dirt-bike) for a spin into the State Park. The tracks are in fantastic condition, and the anti-washaway berms are even more perfect than usual! . . . . . (the berms, the National/State Park dudes set up the jumps/berms, to direct water flows off the tracks, into the bush! Preserves the tracks, and sets up awesome jumps for The Bikes! Win-Win!

Thumbs Up;
Only saw 1 other vehicle on the tracks... A Quad-bike, Dad, with son on the back!
I gave them a Left-hand Thumbs up (right is on throttle!) The kid gave me a right-hand thumbs up, and then dad gave me a left thumb (his right was on throttle!). Made my day! We were all out there enjoying the tracks, the views, etc! Perfect temperature too. Perfect day!

Highlight of the day here was to learn the the brother in law and his bird have scored a 2 yr posting with his job to a place in Indonesia where quality surf is I have spent the last few hours trying to work out how I can spend a month there in the June - Sept period. Should be able to pull it off. What an amazing day even after going to the dentist and having my front tooth cap replaced and spending more than a surfboard costs - I am still happy

Might sound a bit trite, but I took the day off work and went to Brisvegas to see my daughter for her birthday.

Had a lovely day.

I woke up , and was able to get out of bed . Drive to work , and got home in one piece . Hopefully ready to do it all again tomorrow .

If I can replicate that for many years to come , and throw in the occasional surf here and there , I will be happy .

Going to the local where I had let them know I was going away to PP for a short break, and having at least a half dozen ask how the trip was. And then giving and sharing with them for a 2 hour session.

Attended the funeral of a quietly high achieving but incredibly humble'great bloke'. A life time surfer who was too young at 53. Tha lesson to live life to the full is so easy to forget with day to day shizz. Remember what is important.
