Ryan Birch has no problem with pockets ...seen a vid of him on one of his asymetrical boards surfing desert point tearing the place apart. Good allround surfer...I would love to have that blue board he's riding, that is exactly what my quiver needs

I reckon that board would be about 12', might look a bit longer coz I don't think its any wider than about 23. Maybe only 22.5

I've seen that Ryan Burch clip of him riding the big glider before. Unreal .Some of those waves are reasonable size proving these boards need not be put aside for waves that are knee high.

+1 drip id love one,but and its a big BUT, i have no discipline and to surf that casual is just not me..i just love jumping on the tail

There's a local bloke with a big board like that only proportionally wider. I call it the blue beast, he got it from Hawaii & sits out the back on big days at my local & owns anything he wants. I will always try & get in behind him if trying to share a wave coz he will fly down the line onto an alternate section I will rarely make it too & we will basically be on different waves even though we took off 10m apart

Yeah Drip I want one too mate...for you I would say Yalls provided the wind wasn't over 10knts offshore. You'd be backdooring the peak almost like you were on a windsurfer & flying down the line warning yourself not to be tempted to whack it off that end suck section but go for the long drawnout top turn across it & loving the glide

People would be caught inside on the freak sets not even seeing your ride coz you took off so far out & they'd be too busy getting drilled by the wall of whitewater
