If your mates go surfing without you, it will be bigger, better and less crowded than you could have imagined was possible.

If someone shaped boards anytime during the shortboard revolution, he will reckon his massive contributions and revolutionary thinking have gone unrecognised while lesser talents have stolen all the glory.

Almost everyone's mental picture of themselves surfing is a lot better than what they really look like.

The strength of the urge to put a Go Pro on the front of a board is inversely proportionate to the amount of talent of the rider.

That's correct, SP. There is some swell, but the only real quality is in the points which are too crowded for me.
I think I am taking my teen and a friend of hers for a 666 paddle in the river. They will have a lot of fun. There's always a way to have fun in the waves or just somewahere with lots of water and nature. You can count on that.
