Rifles is top of my bucket list. This place looks insane. I hear its a real bitch if you get caught inside.

Rifles - One of the best waves in the Mentawais. A very long righthander that wraps around the other side of the same island as No Kanduis. Rarely makeable from start to finish, but even just from section to section you can get rides up to 100 yards or longer. Nice and hollow once it's a few feet overhead, but usually more sectiony at smaller sizes.

Be warned though as when things go wrong they can go very wrong - check out this sneaker set

Pavones is on the south side of a really large bay. On the north side is a right hander... similar to Pavones... I want to go to the right hander.

Cabo Matapalo... That's on my list.

Yep doggie go one day mate, the north shore is like a country town, the south is unreal and some good waves to be had, paddling out with turtles swimming under you is a real treat, hence my love for turtles

Yeah for me it's more about the experiance, the missus maybe a couple good friends and a decent uncrowded wave and I'd be happy as.

My other 5000 close personal friends that don't live in Manly.

I'd love to get back to CR or Mexico, would also love to take the boards and kite gear to Madagascar. So many places so little time

Thats a good wave Gizzie - lots of fun - reminds me Shippies - it needs a really big swell to break. There is another left not far away called Pacasmayo which I think is better and maybe longer......I prefer it as it picks up more swell and you can get a ride from town out to the end of the point - beats a 40 min walk. Then you just paddle out and catch 3 or 4 waves and you end up back at town and then you do it all again. Heaven. Water is cold though

J - Bay is another near the top of my list.......no need to ask why!
