I don't know how you guys surf up there with all those bodies in the water... Lats time I went to the GC I didnt even consider surfing bcs of the crowds... and that was picking up a brand new board.

Cold keeps the crowds down... I'll take the cold uncrowded waves Vs warm crowds any day

Yep..water temp 24...wind chill around 6..

Mid Nth Coast has the best "all round" weather conditions in Australia..
But we get soo used to "nice" that when it goes below 10..we whinge..

But rightly so..

drove through Ruatoria up the coast from Giz but inland last Sunday........very cold had to put on gloves and socks kind of cold. But I suppose it would have been a "Good Morning" once the sun got a bit higher
