Its a great BBQ - got it for a my birthday last year and love it!

This sleek black counterpart to the Neo range is just perfect in terms of design and functionality. The roll back roasting hood has a temperature gauge that helps you keep track of the internal temperatures in the barbecue. The vitreous enamel body/chassis has four rail burners rated at 15MJ each and a warming rack to keep your barbecued food at the desired temperature. A rotary Ignition system also means you only need to turn the control knob to turn the burners on. Finally the spacious storage compartment is accentuated by two cupboard doors.

It also has a secondary use as a surfboard stand.....

Introducing the NEW Murray Bourton Silver Bullet 6'6" * 22 * 2 7/8

A chubby board for a chubby man!!!!!! Floats me like a dream and has allowed me to replace the old 6'10" gun with a rather spritely 6'6" - served her purpose well so far.

The old trusty reliable Webber still gets a solid work out at home so it would have been uncouth of me not to give her a run....sadly the wind is up so I just took one shot before she almost fell and I called it quits

She is now alls are in her new home and seems pretty relaxed around her new friends. Lets hope she is as good as the others in the rack!!!! First impressions is that she will Thats our raspberry bush to the right in the pick - fruiting like a champion at the moment I might add!!!!

Hey CMC - cheers for the heads up on a previous thread re Wax. I purchased myself some sex wax - a firm base and the new soft sticky one for the top coat yesterday and this mornings surf was a hole new world....although the winter wetly is now a nice shade of white. That stuff is super sticky. No more Mrs Palmers for me.

Its a dream....they do not miss you on price but it seems pretty good value as you only need a touch of the extra sticky stuff

I used this on the bottom

http://www.surfstitch.com/product/creatures-of-leisure-sex-wax-cool-quick-humps-wax-orange0

and this one on the top - hardy any I might add - very very sticky

Nice Ted.. That spray looks good.. And nice little view you've got there... And 2 BBQs...

Was just asking for pics of it in another thread.

Did you surf it this morning?

Thanks SP - she goes well - paddles like a dream. It was only small and gutless but I got 4 or 5 reasonable ones and she was just starting to show her true colours. Once its get to head high and above I think she will be the dream machine (fingers crossed).

I love the Webber - but sometimes you just want to throw something on the BBQ in a hurry so you have to have a gas one as well. Nothing beats the webber. Love it. As for the view - we are very lucky - but we are south facing so it does have its downsides if I wanted to be picky!!!!

You want the harder cold water wax as a base and the softer warm water wax on top. I used an entire block of each when I got my new board.

I used the red sex wax as the base and the blue as the top coat, worked well.

Thanks Simondo.....there are a few longer type boards on the racks below but I would never post such things in the Greenroom.

Still on the lookout for a replacement Mal.....hoping that I get to try one of obct's machines at PP next weekend.

All these MB's I might have to get a newy myself! I seen a
Great 6'0 wide Scarper the other day, carbon strips type. Looked great.

Hey Ted, with the quick humps sex wax. The secret is start with a fresh board and run a hard line of the edge of the block in diagonals across the deck. It leaves lines that the wax beads over and makes it even grippier. Never used the cream but always try to use a red base and orange over it. Nice small hard sticky bumps, so much better than the rest!!

Yeah!

i'm a bit disappointed with the bbq's being used gentle men and i do use that term very, very loosely

less is best. do your home work and find that ultimate bbq surfboard shot.

judged by me and me only and no correspondence to be entered.

still, a very nice board

CMC, yeah I use any old hard wax base, and I find that Sex Purple stick to it very well. I'm in cooler waters, so purple is my orange replacement.

I go for purple top coat all year round... I like it tacky! probably could switch to orange in Summer actually.

Cheers CMC that is exactly what I did - I have never been fan of lots of wax...I opened up the cream one to see what it was like and almost fell over. So I just stuck a touch of that on and happy days!!!!

i've got no problem with the epic beefmasters around the traps.

however, i feel the pedestal type barby gives you the best lines of a board on display.

mind you that 'park' barby must still be a class act or a absolutely run down brick bbq gives the photo a rustic look is an option.

besides, it's all to easy to chuck it out on the back patio bbq as you kick the dog out of the road then snap a shot just before the mrs gives you the snags and tongs to cook for dinner

where's the art in that i tell ya!!!!!

I am sorry for bringing the BBQ display into such disarray LL. I will do my best next time round to use a public space ornament - sadly there are not many around here - the joys of living in a small town
