By all reports the 3fin longboard will be obsolete taken over by the DSF set up which has a fin placed in a fin box set up just in front of the 2 sidebiters.
Interesting set up, advantages 50%reduction to turn a longboard, riding higher on the face, tighter trimming, deeper barrel riding, added stability in whitewater turbulence.Apparently Laguna Bay,McTavish,Farrelly and Bill Tolhurst are aware of it.To me a longboard looks at home as a single fin set up,but i have accepted the 2+1 set up,but having another fin doesn't look right.Only time will tell regarding popularity and performance.

When I was in hospital a few weeks back my dear mother in law got me a couple of mags. One was Surfing World which was great and the other was SUP World that she accidently bought me. She just saw a pic of a guy on a wave and assumed it was a normal surf mag. At first I thought whats this ? but then I had a bit of a look through it and it wasn't so bad.

PS,I went to join a sup club a while back checked the talent out and figured wow I would win every comp,so best stick to the longboards way more challenging
