Punchy Beach Breaks;
The Original is great !! The Original is a great board, and well suited to a Malibu Rider revisting the 1970's with a tiny bit of substance assistance.... Mal riding sped up a little bit !! ![]()

This is 7'10 x 21 x 3. I've been really enjoying this board lately. A fake Bonzer ! Quad variation. Not the standard quad set-up with 4 fins on the rail. All fins are just off the rail, and all 4 fins are 10-20mm further forward than you would usually find them.
Bobby McT told me the set-up is that way so the fins are more up under your foot, and more under your toes and heel. I'm really liking the set-up. I wish I had enough time to shape myself a Bonzer Center Fin (?).... 70's Bonzer side fin "Bonzer D" template, but as a "Centre FCS Fin (Bonzer D)", to slot into this quad.
Hope you had a Merry Christmas period !! ![]()
For some reason I really like this photo.... nice board, nice colours, and a fresh coat of wax....

Here are some pics he posted, and deleted....! ha
An old Bonzer, but it is a Bonzer !! Looks like this board spent some time sunbaking!! She's baked anyway!
I dont think I need to explain why I removed the pics. But I did !
What actually gives you the right to repost a deleted post?
Doggie its been painted with house paint (i guess) and its peeling
off revealing the dark green resin underneath.
Yeah I know its in "ShEEt" condition, but thought the thread might
appreciate, seeing a real original. No not really baked just dusty/dirty.
Paul.
A big resto project! Probably not worth the effort, unless you are good at that stuff yourself, or have an emotional attachment. Resto generally adds weight, and costs about $300 to $500.... ball park.
PlainSailing,
Take this in a sincere way;
The pics are actually in the public domain, as I understand it.
The deleted post was not actually reposted. One of your posts got caught in my "quote" without me knowing that you were going to delete it later.
Picture links were reposted from your public Seabreeze profile.
The pics are 110% related to the topic, and are great to remind people as to what one particular Bonzer from the 70's actually looked like !!
Thanks for posting. No thanks for deleting! ![]()
