hi guys.

Planning a roard trip from Sydney to Brisbane( I live in WA) with the wife and 2 kids. Plan is to fly to Sydney, hire a motor home and cruise up to Brisbane over 2 -2.5 weeks.

looking for suggestions on best time of year to do it (wife's a school teacher so unfortunately has to be in school holiday) for surf and good beach weather.

also towns to visit/ caravan parks and or free camping spots that don't require 4WD.
