Vanders, you're going to have to contact OBCT for beers next week, because from Sunday I'll be in Paris, then travelling for three months. You may need to PM him.

I'm sure OB will be glad so shout you a beer or three. As for somewhere to stay, there are only two larger hotels, Novotel Manly Pacific and the Sebel Manly.

Really sorry I'll be out of town, it would have been good to get a surf in down there, plus perhaps a skate on the promenade...... Bugger....

check ya PM's Wed night in the hood - I will come down and show you around Man Town. Stay at the Novatel as there are better banks in front of it and its more exposed to the swell than the southern end where the Sebel is - although the Sebel does have a quality wine bar attached to it.

Sorry I missed this one, did the walk in the door and took the baby of a slightly flustered Mom.

Did think about walking down with her in the baby carier (the baby not mom).

Hopefully we'll have settled in a little more the next time your down.

Pity crazy, we had a really good chinwag, I only had a few middies and Van had even less and I was home on the bus by 10.

We're incredibly similar in what we want from boards and it's no surprise that we both ended up with similar boards from shapers 600 miles apart.

One disappointment was that the night was so dark because I wanted to show him some breaks, like the bower, and how we access them, but the best I could do was just to stand near the start of the cabbage tree path and point into the darkness.

One thing that is on the cards is a trip to arrawarra some time this year. He's keen and I don't need a lot of encouragement to go there.

My daughter showed me an entry from facebook, apparently just this Tuesday gone 14 May 2013 was the day that Marty McFly was supposed to have gone into the future in one of the Back to the Future movies...didnt see him in the lineup

Just walked in the door after setting off from Manly at 3:30 this morning, this being the reason I took it pretty light on the beers last night. Next time we'll do things differently including involving my longboard, thanks for the offer of a surf this morning fellas, hope ya's got a few.

Thanks for making the effort last night ob, really enjoyed catching up & looking forward to hitting Arra with you blokes too.

Shame Ted & Crazy got caught up, next time boys.

Now to get ready to fly to Roma @ 6.00am tomorrow...................

Bikes good, a few more scratches & chips than the seller described so I talked him down another $60.

Will take her for a cruise on Sunday when I get back. Photos then.
