Bought the latest SW mag the other day, the whole issue is on or based around Gerry Lopez.

Really good read. Better than foam symmetry issue 1 . Good photos but bit light on content for my liking but still worth a flick, maybe issue 2 was better.

Yeah, it's worth it for the photos alone, you'd love it lots of older photos on midlengths, guns etc

Also a fair bit of Wayne Lynch in it to.

With a minor scratch around, I just opened up the previously unopened edition Number 322. My latest edition is 324. The link suggests that Lopez is in edition 325, and maybe my copy is in the mail...

You've got me revved up about Edition 325 now !!

My nephew left a copy of Foam Symmetry and it was pretty good but I've always liked Surfing World for more pics and less ads.

Good Issue, great mag in general. Lopez sounds like a really nice down to earth humble bloke and amazing surfer over many many years in various codes, good role model - hero sportsman material.

Still haven't got mine, SW are crap when it comes to looking after subscribers, with most other periodicals subs are first cab off the rank.
Not so with SW, I guess they figure they already have our coin so it doesn't matter.

I know Aussie Post are also average.

It takes 4-5 days to receive something from friends on Sydney's Northern Beaches...

Day 1 - Posted at Avalon
Day 2 - Arrives at Sydney Distribution, maybe
Day 3 - Arrives at Melbourne Distrib
Day 4 - Arrives at Geelong Distrib
Day 5 - Delivered in Torquay

I finished reading this last night - well worth the investment in time. He seems like a real decent bloke - not too mention some of those shots - he is the style master.

I was sniffing around Bend Oregon on Google Maps, and checking out the photos, and street view. Looks like a nice little place actually. Worth a visit...

The local ski fields have even have "ski view" in stead of Street View... They have seemingly rigged up a now mobile with the Google Cameras, in winter!! Pretty cool. It's directly WSW from Bend... Check it out.

I'd be quite keen on reading about this but unfortunately SW treat their subscribers like twice used toilet paper.
Can't see myself renewing the sub.....

Great edition, but with my scratched up salt encrusted glasses and sunburnt eye balls I had a bloody hard time the fine greyish print on off white. At least Grubbies page was readable; pure gold! He was joking out in the surf about how he was the barber man again.

Please SW, use type us sum exposed surfers can read!
