With all that swell the Queenslanders are getting, there must be some good wave riding going on... Hopefully not too crowded...

Has it been longboard friendly out there?...???

Instead of surfing numerous waves down The SuperBank, I had a fun session around Point Danger this arvo... I surfed 4 peaks... Peak hopping over to the end of the point, then caught 3 long rides, to get back into the beach at Cosy Corner. Fun session!

Sounds fun mate. Hope it was a lot less crowded that whats on offer up here ATM.
Great wave when it's on. I spent a bit of time surfing it in my teens. Loved the left back a bit towards the surfclub. we used to call it draino's. Don't know what it would be called nowdays but.

Yes Locky, that's still Draino's. Thats's pretty much where I started from yesterday... Going right at Draino's, and continuing along the peaks out to the end tip of the reef.

Surfed all last weekend simondo. 3 to 5 ft.

Cooly is just too crowded with quiky pro etc.

Alley has had it moments during the week. Sat morning was firing.

But its a paddle that is a killer. Lots of water moving around and jet skis buzzing with guys doing step offs

Just checked it before. Pretty messy. Guys stepping off.

Did see a couple of prone guys get good waves.

Once past the point by a bit it goes sideways. With the wind. Pretty big and rough heading down past laceys.

Me, im a bit spent from the weekend and a heavy work week.

Very physically taxing surfing this point in these conditions . actually the point would have be a killer. Your paddling the whole time.

The other thing us im fit but I cant put myself in a heaver situations after my quadruple bi pass these days.

To be honest I want it to settle down so everyone can surf everywhere not just the points.

I didnt mention the crowds

Having the whole population focus in the points when it gets good must be frustrating. No cloudbreak banks open up?

I did a good underwater cartwheel, all the while still hanging onto my board, when duckdiving a bomb at Tea tree the other day. Would love to see underwater footage of one...they must look hilarious.
