New website that has just started up for jobs in the surf industry.... surfcareers.com/

Its brand new so there isn't much content at the moment, but it might be worth while keeping an eye on.

I expect that it will be be mainly retail focused surf shop positions but you never know it. I for one will be keeping an eye on it

Hey MornoPom

Just found your note, thanks for noticing our site, and we think it will be worth keeping an eye on it ;)

We aim to have positions within all facets of the surf industry, whether they are accounting roles, warehousing roles, retail, marketing, or even a chef at a surf camp in the mentawaii (which is one job on there at the moment).

Thanks
Troy

So let me get this straight, Unless you are less than 21 yo have a nice rack and don't know what a block of wax is. Don't even bother applying.

I like the sound of surf shops where you are Locky....where I am you are more likely to get served by a pimply over weight goose or the wife of the proprietor. Not that it bothers me too much as I am an infrequent visitor of surf shops these days. Love a good board store though!!!!!!

You to could spend years on a career making your employers millions of dollars and be paid below the Australian average wage. The same sales numbers in any other industry would have me driving a Porsche......

But, for some reason I'm still there......
