One of the pleasures of surfing has got to be surfing as new wave, whether its big, small, clean or not paddling out to a new break is right up there.

Surfed a new wave over last weekend, no one out except the crew that travelled there, plenty of fun waves, sunny, light winds...beautiful!

With so many waves around the coast finding a new wave is never far away I guess?

Down there somewhere Doggie

I found it a bit of a rush turning around and paddling for the first wave of the session.

Even though you have seen the wave from the carpark or the dune and from the beach the first take off is always a huge buzz. I tend to froth on any wave but fair to say it was a special session.

Anyone else had any new wave experiences lately, surely with the winter we had people have surfed different places?
