Just wondering if anyone on here has surfed Lombok ie: ekas bay, desert point etc.

Planning some sort of a surf trip next year and just wondering if this place was worthwhile.

Had some good waves at Ekas in 92, surfed for days only two out.No hotels down there then only bamboo huts old Indo.
Big boat trip across the bay, but top waves
Checkout longbreak.com.au they did a write up on Lombok.
Another break west of Kuta(not bali) on the south coast was Maui 4x4 track.

Heading up to Bali in 4wks, get out of this cold.
