I don't think so mate, just a vid to show a hot girl dressed up and surfing.

Strength wise they've been that way for over 11 years. Kind of why would you believe they are now the biggest volume selling surf and SUP brand in the world. Seriously!

Try do that on any other board though eh? They are strong no doubt. The Coco Mat is about 40% lighter though and 50% stronger than even these. That stuff is a serious innovation in composites if you want a spiel.

I am not sure, I can't keep track with my flirting.

The Coco Mat thing is mental, honestly. I seen the lab test reports and it goes like this in terms of snapping strength, impact resistance etc.

PU has many advantages in riding, being easy to work with etc etc. Unfortunately strength is not one of them.

There are all kinds of Epoxy technology like say wet lay up PU foam glassed with Epoxy, EPS hand lay up Epoxy.

Then you move to say more exotic materials like Innegra's, Carbons etc hand layed up. Stronger than regular glass.

Next up the scale would be the veneer types, like Bamboo's, Pine etc. Not really a sandwich as not thick enough, stronger than say 2 layers of 6 oz cloth.

One more step up and you have Sandwich, using like 3mm PVC etc. This is made stronger with more exotic materials in combination also. Pretty light and strong also. The same strength as this would be the micro sandwich foaming Epoxy used in NSP's, all AST constructions etc.

BUT way up the scale above these is the Coco Mat. It is seriously 50% stronger and the same weight as the PVC sandwich. The Coco is unprocessed and the method it is applied with is a patented technology. Better enviro wise and crazy strong.

Some people love it. Have you ever seen a Surftech or any SUP without paint? No, you havent because the PVC is not very attractive to say the least. Strong as though.

Point being it's the technology we are talking about. It can be painted, can be whatever.

Thanks for that CMC - just done some googling on it and it seems to be something that we have all been weighting for - at long last some new technology is making its way into the market place. Will this ever be available as a blank for customs?
