Any suggestions on moving a board from the Goldy to Victoria and associated cost?
I know surf cargo only go between the Goldy & Sydney.

Murrays busses will do it - if you can get someone to drop it off at the bus depot when the bus is leaving and you can pick it up when the bus arrives.

I was quoted $20 from the Canberra (closest main depot to me at the time) to Brisbane (closest depot to the buyer). Needs to be Depot to Depot but there are plenty around the place.

Might be worth a look - Can be a bit harder to organise I guess than a courier and a little more stressful but if packed right I am sure it will be more than fine...

E.go damaged the Tyler I bought from Surfanimal a couple of weeks back, and he wrapped it well enough to have survived a nuclear holocaust. . Toll have damaged 2 McCoys. The culprits in all three cases? Forklifts. The lazy pricks that drive them take no head of 'fragile' stickers or requests for toploading. The best courier I used was myself. Have driven from Adelaide to Sydney once and to Byron twice to pick up boards; no damage sustained! Plus the honour of meeting the shapers was priceless. Helps if you've got a van as you can sleep in it wherever you go.If you go with a courier insure!!!!!!!

That sucks big time. I have had good luck but I've always been a bit lucky and had good wrappers (thanks Chrispy).

Was the damage to the Tyler bad??

No mate a minor dent about 1/3 down from nose- didn't break the glass but annoying on an otherwise beautiful board. Won't effect performance.
