Now I know a lot of people use Surf Cargo etc but those guys don't venture down to SA.

Need to get a board from NSW to SA. What general freight companies have people used and had good luck with.

I have used ego a few times with good luck but have heard horror stories from others.
Get at me.

Maybe try this one mate.

You put your item and location up on there and then people bid for your business.

I put my last one up on there, got delivered door to door no problems for not much$ As the bloke was just filing out an already booked load.

www.uship.com

Whatever company bids I just googled them for reviews.

And Mac is right? What did you get??

Moved half a dozen boards Qld / NSW to Victoria with Richard Wikaire "The Kayak Courier"
Door to door service, enclosed truck or trailer, and he knows what he is moving so treats it with respect.
Get your own quote but Gold Coast to Melbourne $200.
Can't recommend highly enough.

Great choice mchenry. I know Mr basher would have been bashing your ears for a mccoy..... I'm sure I recommended one in a post ages ago for you.

This board will make you smile. I have no experience with the pot belly. But the zot and allround nugget I surfed were so user friendly and fun.....and they will go better the bigger it gets. Good score, and please let me know how the pot belly rates

Yeah Dave Basher has influenced me a bit but he does make a lot of sense and knows the local conditions very well. I was looking for an all round nugget in the 7.6 to 8 foot length but nothing was coming up. Dave has a pot belly and speaks highly of them. The nuggets make a lot of sense for the conditions we have in SA.

I used these guys in the end

www.e-go.com.au/home.do;jsessionid=30DF988D1EBAA09939F5E9C1CFD7EE72

Cost me $36 for overnight delivery from Melb to Sydney. Tux dropped it off yesterday morning and I pick it up this arvo. Unreal service. Let's hope it arrives in one piece !

I don't understand this concept of "surfboard couriers"

Wouldn't the parcels tend to get all soggy

I registered my board on uship and nothing came up. Always an issue getting things into Adelaide. I booked it on ego.com.au

Hope for the best as i know Dave Basher has been unlucky with them. Mine have always been ok but i have always had good friends wrap them up

Should have it by the end of next week.

I had two bids on uship McHenry. Seems the time of day that you post it probably has a large influence.

My board has arrived safely into Manly without a mark on it. I put on the "notes section" that it was fragile and needed to be top loaded. This was plastered all over it. Tux did an awesome job wrapping it as well. All in all a win win win.

I've got a couple of mates who surf McCoy boards. They love them. The couple of times I have tried them I have been amazed how well they go. Fast, loose but with heaps of hold, great volume. I'm sure you will be very happy. I haven't surfed a Pot Belly(nuggets and lazer zaps), nor one that size. But if the use ability extrapolates up the scale you will have a burster.

Good glass jobs too. They are so hard to find it's ridiculous. I love McCoys glass jobs.

Yes the longer ones are hard to find.

I had my eye on this one, called the guy on GT and he said it was sold and the guy was coming to pick it up. But then the next day he range me ad said the guy was a no show so he would sell it to me and he knocked $100 bucks off the price.

I couldn't believe it !!

Yes they do have very nice strong glass jobs made to last. This ones a keeper. Love the yellow as well!
