Train shunter had the spaghetti marijuana

A SENIOR train shunter sacked over a positive drug test has been reinstated after an appeal found he accidentally ate cannabis in pasta sauce, thinking it was "herbs".

Robert Dickson accidentally ate cannabis after his partner Megan Bailey accidentally chopped herbs on the same kitchen bench where she rolled marijuana cigarettes as she prepared food, Transport Appeal Board Commissioner David Ritchie ruled.

Mr Dickson, who has worked for Railcorp since 1984, said his partner kept a very "messy" kitchen.

Ms Bailey was "smoking and preparing her cannabis and preparing the sauce for the pasta". She smoked up to 15 cones of cannabis a day, Mr Dickson told the tribunal.

Mr Dickson tested positive to cannabis on April 18 last year in a urine sample after returning from two weeks leave. The urine test occurred two days after the pasta meal.

He was sacked on November 11 last year after the positive test but has been reinstated.

My ex-girlie would have smoked 5 joints per day, and it probably would have been 10 if she had more money. Probably roughly equal to 15 cones! Needless to say, her head was a bit scattered!

My mates sister would out smoke all the boys, by a long way. Massive cones, thumb screwed, and hay-stacked. Most guys would watch proceedings in disbelief... She even had a smaller optional cone for others... Her cone was XXL! Bottom half was conical, and top half went into straight wall pipe!

I also know many a kiwi chick who could pull her fair share in the good old days....I was more laughing at the fact that the train fella was probably doing his fair share and this was a monumental excuse!!!

I miss the good old days - it seems these days everyone prefers the recreational pharmaceutical option.

I used to go skiing a fair bit at Mt Hutt and my sister and cousin were working up there so I would get free accomodation. A lot of girls would come over from Ashburton to mix with the tourists. There were some pretty heavy smokers amongst that lot and many with no elastic in their undies. Those were the days.

It is super dodgy, how much was she chopping up that she got enough of it mixed in with the Pasta sauce to register. Or how wasted was she..

And. The defence she was preparing her marijuana to roll joints, but she smokes 15 cones a day? Im no expert but Different method?

And 2 days after he was on leave... Please. He was blazing away on his holidays and got caught so he came up with, as you said a monumental excuse and by the looks of it found some people dumb enough to believe it... Good on him I say, it's great that not only did he come up with it but pulled it off .. I believe the saying "more Arse than Class" fits perfectly

Funny clip jump out the wundow. I just stuck to the mountain and the blue pub. Twenty cents for a game of pool but that was mid 80's.
Doggie would have a field day over there. Very understanding girls.

Good advice - works across many cultures that one. Its all about time frames. Although the Saffa chicks always put up a good fight.
