I was down at out local (Scarborough) yesterday morning, light offshore and very small but fun swell.
My mate and I got out early and got onto a couple of short but nice waves when out of nowhere came this blaring noise.

My mate, Chris, tells me there is a shark in the area and thats the alarm, I have never heard it before, so in we go with about another 34/40 guys up and down the beach..... except a couple!!

So while we are sitting on the beach watching the choppers overhead we could see we were about 200 odd metres from where they were circling above "the shark" I guess. These two guys decide it was far enough away not to worry about. That was fine I guess but when the lifeguards in the inflatable motored over and motioned for these two to get out, all one of them could do is wave back.

Out came the loud hailer and the two in the water were told to leave immediately as there was a 4 meter shark in the area.
Well one tosser decided to leave but the other (seen below) reckoned he knew better.

Well call me old fashioned but F**k me, this idiot, while its OK to play with his own life would be the first one to be asking for help if by some chance he was attacked and the blokes dragging his sorry chewed up arse out of the water are the same blokes who warned him earlier .... I swear some blokes just don't have a brain or maybe because he argued with the LG's he didn't want to do the walk of shame up the beach with a few hundred pairs of eyes on him...............
