Hi,
I've got 2 snapped 10' Tuflite,(Surftech) Longboards, (Takayama noserider and a Bear Waikiki special) that I was going to just glue together and hang on the wall.
Both boards are beauties but it just kills me to park them up and not be able to ride them anymore.
I was led to believe that Tuflites don't join well, however I came across a post on swaylocks where a guy in the UK did a really solid job of repairing a SUP..
I haven't got the skills to take this on..wondering if anyone knows someone in PERTH or Southwest that could ??

Cheers,
Greg.

I snapped a 9'4 CW whalebone epoxy & took it over to Naruki on Benasari lane Bali. Cost me $75 to repair & colourmatch. You had to look closely in the sunlight & you could only just see it on one side. I surfed it out at Head 1/2 Nusa Dua a few times but didn't ride it when I got home coz I was riding another board. Adverised it as a snapped pro repaired board. Sold it to a local lass prone to board chucking rather duckdiving or springboarding over waves & its survived its second winter. So I reckon they're pretty good at repairs. Otherwise its not worth what it costs to repair them in Oz imo...unless you can do it yourself. Good luck

Hi Groovtube. I have heard a few stories now about TLPC Surftechs. My mate and I have just bought the Bear Waikiki Special 10ftr.
Haven't used it yet. Should I sell it before I use it? Did yours break in a situation where you would not expect it to? I have snapped and bent
boards before so I understand it can happen but just wondering if these are more prone. Hope not.

No your good..fantastic board..I would get another but none around so bought a Tolhurst Harvey Ingleby Cruiser that so far seems pretty good..anyway I drove my Landcruiser onto the Bear when I first got it, just cracked the rail and a big pressure ding from the tyre..used it for a year or so no drama..just the other week got caught under the lip on a head high day and that was that!!
It snapped exactly where the car damage was..
