To start with, I have Bells, Rincon, and Winki (uppers & lowers) pretty much wired. And that's why it will be hard to ever move away...
Today, Torquay Boardriders were operating at Winki. It's rare that they hog Winki, but a teny tiny north wind like today cuts up the winki face a tiny bit, but leaves Bells alone.... just a local phenomenon... (double click, right mouse button on The Mac to spell that one! - hell, I struggle to pronounce it!)...
Sorry, I digress... stick in there! Only 2 beers down.... you should hear the dribble after 5 !!

Rincon was breaking nice today. Breaking off the submerged Rincon button rock out the back, and reeling through and linking right through to inside Rincon, to the Main Bells Stairs. Approx 270m rides.... pretty long.... Goggle earth checked.... even longer than Tee Tree, which is about 250m max.... Today, I got about 7 long ones from 8 sets of sets. I had it wired today....

There were a couple of semi angry shortboarders, trying to sneak waves from me... But I was patient, waiting for the right ones, taking off deep.... it was about head high and bit, and that outside takeoff can be a touch tricky when it jacks, and then section 2 and 3 can jack a little, and on the inside shelf, there was also a little jacking action.... I got lucky today, made every single wave all the way through! Snuck around the odd section, but glided through on 9 feet of fun, and connected back with the face... On wave 6 & 7, there were 1 or 2 shorties trying to have a dig at my wave, but considering I was already into cutback number 2 or 3, they had no option for them. I figured I should go in while I was still on a roll... Kind of like retiring after a Grand Final !!
