Thats understandable as the GC is crowded and too inconsistent for me as well .

Hang in there Mac ,Bali will be open soon or do a roadie south of the border, plenty of less crowded and more consistent locations out there

Does anyone know how the board building industry is going in this recession , second hand Mal long boards on Gumtree & Market place are in short supply so I'm guessing surfers are not upgrading as much ...?

Where in WA? Please point me in that direction. My business has been dealt some nasty blows with clients now sourcing direct designs that I came up with for them. Essentially cutting me out as the designer and middle man. Killer is that I don't have the resources to take on a multi national corp and stop them from infringing on my IP.

But yes, surfing is booming, even the usual hot spots that you can score some nice rides on are now packed during week days.

the $$$ pouring out of Kalgoorlie via Gold ...yeah from what i can gather surfing has increased in popularity during covid , more leisure time sure has its bonus .

Yes I believe the surfboard manufacturing industry is booming I've never seen so many people surfing. Unemployment, people working from home has doubled the numbers.

Ding repairers are turning work away around here. They are weeks behind on current repairs. Never been busier they say.

I have been in and around the surfboard industry for 50 years,and have a saying. 3 weeks late and wrong!!!

Bazz open your eyes when you look at the water....there has never been so many humans in the ocean than right now...

I always get excited when easter comes as i know the crowds will thin....thanks for ruuning that rona
