My 6'9" fish has a small middle fin, and two big sides. I'm still not good enough to critique it myself, but I guess lots of combinations work good enough to ride eh?

Yes Mac, 1+2 or 1+none for me.

thruster set up 100% . does everything that a 2 + 1 can do...only faster looser and allround better. i do want a singlefin though with a option for side biters for a hotdog type board. but until you have ridden both setups it only comes down to a speculatively guess.

You seen the DVD going vertical Mac , good story on Bob McTavish and his involvement in modern board development , some good surf shots and music as well

Just a singly for me most of the time...tbh I just enjoy the glide when I am on the longy sometimes i will attempt an amble forward....
