Just found out I will be heading to Bali in July for my old man's 50th (no he's not Balinese!) Gonna be staying at Seminyak, heard there is quite a few waves in the area. Anyone got any tips on the quiver I should take. I have a 7'2 Murray Smith Hybrid, a 9'6 fireball and another 9'6 mal.

Looking like a good year for new waves, got Victoria in March/April and Bali in July, should book in Noosa while I am at it!

Lucky lucky bugger,I'll be heading over in the new year, Seminyak is just a heavy beach break on low tide, super fast too closeouts.Best mid too high tide.Head up to Canggu some nice banks up there only 20 mins drive
or hit the left handers on Kuta Reef. Take your 7.2 and the highest performer LB you have

maybe those injuries are caused by going too hard when your under 30 doggie hey souwester there are some awsome villas in seminyak...stayed in one last year with some friends.... worked out about the same as staying in a good hotel....so nice we didnt want to go out...just wanted to hang in the villa...62mac is on the money...closest waves are down at cangu...most of the villa's come with car and driver too.

As far as villas go ,small group,Sun Island Villas or a big group Sienna Villas, has three by king bedrooms upstairs all with own bath, shower, massive downstairs with big pool,at a guess the villas are around 40 plus squares just down the lane behind Bingtang supermarket

If you need a driver PM me and I will send details of a great guy

I've heard its really crowded now but I'll just surf the beach break out the front early and that will do me. I'm not even taking a board over and will hire out a tufflite and go from there. The more serious surf trip will happen later next year on a land camp trip to Sumatra.

On the board thing,I've been thinking of taking a few over next trip and storing them in a safe place, for all to use.

That would be nice. Do you reckon you could get the UFO over there before March?

No mate but I know a couple of guy's who didn't rate them, they did not like the rocker and the quad set up.

But I think they would be great for a young charger.
