Ok - I am gunna organise a social longboard and stand up paddle comp' for perhaps March next year. I am thinking about Arrawarra/Scotts Head or around Coffs Harbour. March - because its after the school holidays and its still pretty warm and there is usually a bit of swell lurking around northern NSW. I am leaning towards Arrawarra because of the availability of nice holiday homes on the beach and also the lack of crowds. It will be over a weekend primarily with the option of staying before or after for those interested. It would be good to get some sandgropers over here and you vicco's as well (well, most of you are welcome)

Ideally for fun factor I would like everyone to have a crack at the sup as well and boards will be available for anyone needing longboards or sups.

SOCIAL - FUN - LOTSA LAUGHS - NO B/S.

Try not to hold it during a school holiday and there's a good chance that I'll be there.

Always a bad idea to go away when the kids are off.

And I do like Scotts head, it really is a gem of a place.

All good mate, I'll get you from the Goldy to Arrawarra and hook you up with a sup
Once I get some idea of interest I will enquire about accom' - the place I've been staying at at Arra' for years sleeps 10 in comfort with couch space for a couple more but there are heaps of nice big places in the area that would suit.
The other thing that just came to me was that we could time it to do our own thing on the sat' and maybe do the monthly Woolgoolga longboard club round on the sunday - that'd be a hoot I reckon. So I suppose for me the ideal trip would be to travel down Friday - surf Fri'/Sat' and maybe club comp' sunday morning - home sunday night - thoughts on this plan anyone ?

Keep in mind the annual Noosa and Mal-Function events are usually on mid to late March (I haven't checked exact dates). Guess it depends if travelling Breezers want to also check out or avoid these comps. - Mark

As far as I'm concerned noosa festival is the perfect time to go south - anyone that can afford $132 for a single division entry at noosa is way too posh for the Arra' comp' anyway

I'm not knocking them - its just that I, and the people I surf with would rather spend $130 on a weekend away than on a 20min surf at Noosa.
Everyone is different - not begrudging anyone making a $.
