surfed the CLEARWATER BEAST today with mac in 2ft average lm...buckets off fun

pretty windy and raining so will wait to take picks to give the beast and mr del rosso some real justice

first impressions are...super easy to paddle,even with the mental rocker and tail lift.
EXTREMELY FAST,no section could beat me today. loose is a understatement,point the beast and watch it do it itself really. not to hurt anyones feelings,BUT,every other so called performance longboard...well they use that only for marketing, as i now believe you cannot have a 2+1 set up and call it h/p. i ran the board with 7 sidebites and a 3 in the centre. i could stand a foot in front of the tail and it turned like a 2 + 1...step back on the tail, well fmd it just goes so sharp. still could get to the top third of the board no problem,she just trimmed and loved it.

am so looking forward to getting it in some beachies and really give it a smash and run.

i will be getting some SHAPERS h/p fins on tuesday,which i believe will make it even better

sp...your cream wax...is outstanding,my now favourite brand of wax

so some pics tomorrow(pup,it will be my pleasure to pay a fine to give this beast justice)

now my question to all....has anyone else tried a similar thruster set up and what do you think. no more stiff fin boxes for me

Chrispy was on fire today shame he missed my bomb late take off stall into the beast pit covered up them it all went wrong the board tracked up the face and over the falls we went board first.

Chrispy made some new friends today,funny is our Crunchy Bar

For those that know us Chrispy and I don't run unless being chased but today this hippy Asian no leggie lost his board which was heading for the rocks so we ran like bolt to watch the carnage,will we were too slow of course and missed it
