Ok the surf was crapola today but I normally hit up news years day for a surf, what better way to start a year. But hmm I had to work

Today the second,I log onto the web cams and things looked crapola but man I have to get wet.

Anyway,I head on down and its looking crapola,**** it I am getting wet.

Now I am not a huge fan of single fin cruisers but I am learning to trim the line.
This thing grabbed every set wave that came along,I had a blast and so fast in choppy wind effected small mid tide waves.

The tide dropped,so I rack the redline for the UFO and managed a couple, but the redline was way more fun.

Hi guys its still the orange 3incher which is still newish, but I found a new passion for it.
After a couple of PM's on the 3 1/8 I am now thinking of staying with the mellow orange tint.

The 3 1/8 is somewhere between the bay and the gc

Good to hear you're enjoying it mac, I'm happy with mine as well, they pick up some pretty good speed on the trim.

Yeh, the line speed is fast,I found surfing it off the tail somewhat fun.It feels like a tanker compared to my HP.But gee it was fun.

I need to spend more time on this thing and listen and learn.

So vanders, did you get out this week? Lets catch up for the old buggered body comp

The boys tell me,if your half as good as me your out, because your too good for the likes of asea.

Now that will spice things up

asea,if your out there mate you should have come,it was well crapola and makaha was on fire.

mac I'm still out of action due to a calf muscle tear, & any expectation or discussion of how good I am will be well & truely over exaggerated, I'm basically a 38yo noob who just enjoys the time spent trying to improve.

I've ridden my new redline once since I had it made & that was more of a paddle session, I did have a 10'x23x3 redline before this new one & it was a tonne of fun, still missing my fireball though!!!

Would love to catch up to give you some laughs once I can get back on the board again.

As you can see vander, some of us are full of itand don't take our friendly banter seriously, as you say its all about the fun and don't worry too much because I am sure the boys have had a laugh at my expense.

I too am Fireball less atm,I'll get another one day but having fun on the redline.
