a sad one here lads & Lasses .... this young froffer aged 28 was murdered by a group of assailants whilst coming to the aid of a lady who was being attacked .... he paid the ultimate price for being her saviour and I think deserves some small mention and my respect in here ..... RIP brother and get some heavenly stoke up there dude - good waves in eternity

i have been reading way to much bad **** lately. the other one that shocked me was the two teenagers in the US who wtried to rob a woman pushing her 18 month old baby in the pram....then shot the kid point blank in the face then the aussie ****wit who stabbed the parents to death in front off their children....i just dont get it

meant to post this the other day Pup, but better late than never. I was at my usual spot getting some nice waves with a few of the regular crew and a couple of others I hadn't met. Two of them finish up and spend half an hour looking on, one of them then paddles out about 30m away from the takeoff and pushes his board away from himself, waits a minute or two then swims in. A few of us notice this and ponder why he would do this, one dude caught one in and went over to ask what was going on. He paddled back out and told us it was Taurie's brother paying tribute. Very sad but a cool and low key way to honour your bro I thought.
