Weiry, yes mining is a mild pain in the bum, in many ways.... But the absolute harsh reality is that it allows for us to make the metal that goes into cars and TV & computer components, and it allows us to extract coal to make electricity to power all sorts of things...

Without minerals, mining, and Oil & Gas, this county would be just as farked as some Euro Nations at the moment....

But having said that.... I know I could have a great time without all that crap... Give me 4 surf craft, a plot of land close to the beach, and I could do it hippie style ! Grow vegies, surf, make home brew...
