Tried to get the where are you qld surfing tomorrow thread going...and it says to old,wtf
What's the deal with not being able to post on old threads Laurie?

That's why you have a search function isn't it,to find information you need from the back lots? So why make a newy start a new thread as he/she can't ask another question on a thread that has already been started after they find it hitting the search button? Think it's also cool to see how opinions can change.

Pretty crap,so bring back the qld thread and allow.us to respond and ask questions to old threads..

Queensland - perfect one day, 8 straight the next

I imagine its something to do with the storage of space required to keep all threads active Chrispy. Data storage costs cashola. I know on real surf they often revive some old threads and its very amusing! Infact this week two have been revived from circa 2006 !! Some great thoughts from yester-year alive and kicking.

The wind has turned up here already....I got out off the surf and was about to go home and change boards, then head down till that happened....I would be heading out now before the big se/E starts to blow.
Plus the tide would be perfect there right now

Hey Chrispy .. it's because some people (trolls) had great joy in resurrecting old topics from 2,3,5 .. 10 years ago.

People seldom read the dates of topics & think they are current .. but alas no. Thus .. with one post, trolls were resurrecting dead & buried arguments. If it was only used for "good", I agree .. it would be handy.

The time limit for resurrection is 12 months; which in the "real world" pretty good indication that it's old news.

Moving on to your individual challenge, let me know the link to the topic & I can resurrect it easy enough.. (or you can start a new one)

Hope that helps...

I think you should check your technical whatever it is,as some posts I tried to respond to are well under 12 months old...then I'm talking about is probably less than a month
