The best make it look effortless, "slowing everything down" is what beautiful logging's all about.

My cross stepping is getting pretty good now, even on my backhand as its been mostly smooookkkkin lefts down here lately. Keeping it nice and smooth now (mostly) and zero ugly shuffling. The hardest bit is positioning the board so it "holds" when you go for the nose
