Hi all.
Been on this site for a little while now and keen to know everyone's thoughts on Pieter Surfboards in Newcastle.
I've recently ordered my second custom from Pieter, my previous one is an easyrider model, this time though I've opted for one of his USA 66 Stringerless models based on the G&S Midget Farrelly ones from the States.
I'm approaching 50 very quickly but Piet has me surfing again like I did in my 20's albeit a little bit slower. His attention to detail and willingness to listen to what I wanted to achieve in my custom is a huge part of why I went with him after riding another local manufacturers boards previously.
All up this will be my 6th board by him in my racks.
Anyone else here discovered his brilliant boards yet?

I'd say you know more about his boards than anyone in here. Two guys have owned one each, Vanders and McHenry. He stops for nothing as far as quality and the love he puts into all his boards true craftsmanship. If you have a Instagram account I believe I am following you

Super high quality boards. I had a Pieburger for a short time. We didn't quite gel together. My ability I would say. The Easy models look nice.

Hey Jeff, Great looking quiver. If you use the search function on this site (make sure you click the "go back 5 years bit") and type in Pieter you will see that there's a whole lotta love in the room. Some great pics, too.

His boards look great and his website has some good youtube videos giving a run down of some of his board models.

Also if your into shaping boards or just interested in the process his instagram(pietershapes www.instagram.com/pietershapes/?hl=en) is really good he often does live videos of the complete process start to finish and explains what he is doing as he goes. If you go through his photo/video roll you can catchup on videos he has done in the past.

Not quite sure how that even matters. We all lean to the left or right side I guess.

I'm surprised at myself.
I go right.
My daughters are 22 and 26, talk to me, and I find I'm favouring lefts.
Just not any of our politicians

I go from centre to right and then centre to left, does that make a floater or should I just be cutting back.
