Got up a little groggy Sat morning after a work do and a house warming, me and a mate made our way down to a Metro beach and it was smoking! (well for me it was!) Better skilled guys were taking off in front of a groyne and getting pitted and/or wiped out. Groyne looked a little gnarly for me so I settled for the beachie next to it.

Had it pretty much to myself and a few bodyboarders for a couple of hours got cleaned up a few times but got a few nice long rights on the hybrid, enough face for a couple of top turns and an end section floater, stoked!

Ha ha facing a sizey shorebreak sure does wake you up! One Lano trip I was actually throwing up all the way still made it out but was a bit silly really. Always seems to be good waves when I have a night out
