I should'a gone up there, but it just such a crappy place to park, and if you do find a spot, they slug you good and hard for the parking.

Maybe next year I'll do it the smart way and throw a 6 pak in a cooler and get the bus up there, it only costs me a few bucks

Not if I'm in my shire, Warringah, because I have a sticker showing I'm a rate payer, but it I go north to Pittwater, or south to Manly, then yes. They're thinking of amalgamating all 3.

Warringah and Pittwater were once one, but then the peninsular mob decided they were too good for us so they campaigned for a split and won. Can't say I blame them, I can recall Warringah being so bent, they've had to Administrator 2 or 3 time to run the council after the Local Council Department had to sack all the elected officials.

Whenever they put in an administrator, it's about the only time the council runs well.

Back to the parking, it's not too bad getting free parking from North Narrabeen all the way up to Avalon, you don't really need to carry the board too far.

But after Avalon you've got no option other than to pay.
