Thanks for the positive words of encouragement fellas. I know it seems like only yesterday I was with those guys from Quikky - best of a bad bunch to be honest - but it was time to move on. Although Australia is definitely high on my list of countries to hit its not near the very top - so it will be a while before I can provide you with some samples. Lets just say that the high end surf markets of New York, Paris, London, Milan and Monaco will get the pick of the first product. I then aim to hit Cairns in time for the film festival - my old buddy and surf partner Cameron has a movie listed there. China and Singapore are also on my to-do list - especially being so close to the manufacturing hubs we will be using. From there who knows where next - I guess I will probably open a store in Sal Paulo just to annoy Gabs. Whilst one would think that the Goldie should be up there on the hit list my good friend LL tells me the building market is still suffering and as we all know without a good strong property market in Australia people just don't buy stuff. Also after that terrible incident with Steff a few years back I really do not want to spend anymore time there than necessary. The Sunshine Coast is a nice place to visit but I really do not think even Hastings Street can sustain the type of stores that I envisage. Dee Why - perhaps - they tell me its moving up in the world - I remember when it was full of single mums and 200k apartments a block back from the beach - how the worm turns. Anyway, we all know you Aussie guys like to buy stuff off the net anyway so maybe I will not even bother with having a high street outlet - those Westfield pricks charge too much anyway. Its been common knowledge for yrs that Rip Curl and Quikky sell more wetsuits to Australians on-line in America and the UK than in stores in Australia. Go figure. Why create more of the same problem when I can just have an on-line store?
Going forward I am really hoping to finally get this wave park off the ground - it better be soon or there will be trouble. Can not have Greg being too far ahead of me on this one as he might get all the good sights. Once the wave park concept is proven then it will naturally open up tonnes of new markets that the other dinosaurs have not even thought about yet - imagine Montreal in January - a heated pool with 5 foot of snow around the outside and people shredding in boardies and then buying all my product from the stores - GOLD as the Chief would say. Geneva - those blokes won the Americas cup once so why not a future world surfing champ? I mean you do not have to stretch the imagination to far to see the endless possibilities - Moscow, Nebraska, hell even Bolivia one day - loads of backpackers with cashola to spend down that way. Fun times in the evenings as well if you get my drift

Anyway I can not give away to many of the trade secrets just yet - but keep following me on Instagram and one day you might just see me
